The league i am in plays 501 straight in double out.As you are watching the championship the aim is to get finished in as little darts a possible.A nine dart game is the least you can do it in and it is very hard to do.Players normally go for triple 20's at the start of the game until they near there finish.

Say for example you are on 108 some players go T20 S16 to leave D16 or T18 S18 to leave D18.The way i would go is T19 S19 to leave D16.I always try to leave D16 cause if u hit S16 you are left with D8and so on D4 D2 D1.If i can't leave D16,D20 is my next target as a single leaves D10 then D5.If you do take up darts ask other players about finishes.Dart players will tell you as they like to see young players come into the sport and also it's probably the way they started as well.

The main thing is do not try and copy some one else's throw just because you like their style as it might not suit you.Find your own style and find your favourite double to finish on and practice practice practice.

I hope this helps and good luck if you do take darts up.

P.S. On the television once a player hits a score try and beat the on screen score board as i done this when i was yongster and it really improved my counting and i still do it to this day and take note oof how players finish their out shots.

Each player starts with a number of points, typically 301 or 501. The object of the game is to be the first to have no points left. Each player throws three darts in his turn and the total scores of the darts is subtracted from his total points. The first dart and the last dart must land on a double, that is, the outer narrow ring on the dart board. The last dart must bring the score to exactly 0. If a player scores more in a turn than he has points, that turn does not count. Dartboards, darts and the distance between the dartboard and the player's feet are all governed by special rules.

I propose you do you study. England do no longer compete on the olympics. the united kingdom got here 4th - its appropriate ever contemporary result. pondering the united kingdom might by no ability have a desire of competing against the great 3 (China, Russia and the US) we did somewhat nicely.
