Well just like everybody else in the world Nepal has a Football (Soccer) team that tries to qualify for the FIFA world cup (Asia Zone). They also have a domestic league.



Nepal is under going major political changes the King was removed from power trying to create a more democratic system. Nepal is currently trying to get corruption out of their sports really hurts the athletes.



Best hope for an Olympic medal Taekwondo Nepal sends these athletes to international competitions.



Nepal has a basketball association with a tournament. Take a look from this Nepal sporting newspaper in English. I found out from Nepal Basketball the game was introduced in the 1950's.

Nepal is also listed as a member in the following team sports cricket and volleyball, I saw both sports in the above paper.



Yes mountain climbing in Nepal, but Nepal sent no climbers to any international competitions. Allot of tourists go there to participate in action outdoor sports.
