Are suede/canvas vans good for skating?

i was wondering because canvas is a pretty bad material for skating but people say the suede/canvas vans are pretty good. also is the suede and canvas fused together or are they each on separate parts of the shoe?

Hell. No. if you're thinking of the shoes that are on the biggest display on the wall, those are terrible for skating. Just because they are Vans and have the waffle grip doesn't mean they are skate shoes, regardless of what they claim. the OTW series are really good, *heavier* quality shoes that will take a beating a little better, depending on the material. don't get leather, wool, ,etc.



There might be a suede/canvas mix shoe, but generally they are two different shoes.
