Question:
Gymnastics-Don't know what to do!?

Okay, so I take karate, and I almost have my black belt, but my karate teacher isn't promoting me, because she doesn't like me! And I do gymnastics at home, and I'm pretty good at it for someone who doesn't take gymnastics. My mom said I can take gymnastics when I'm a black belt. :-[ and shes not letting me quit karate. So, by the time I get my black belt, I will be 11. Is that too old to start gymnastics? I don't know! Will I be too old? I mean, I already know a few gymnastics moves. I know a split, handstand, cartwheel, front limber, back kickover, and backbend. HELP ME!

The gym I used to go to has an adult gymnastics team. I know one woman who started gymnastics for the very first time in her life at age 22. Within one year she was as good as some of the people at the gym who had been doing it for years.

For me personally, I started tumbling for cheerleading when I was 14 years old, and I started gymnastics (meaning doing the bar and beam along with the tumbling) for the very first time when I was 18 years old. 11 is definitely not too old.
