So I have had my belly button pierced for 2 months and I used to to do gymnastics before I got it pierced and now I have cheer tryouts in 1 month and I'm wondering if it wi hurt to do backhandsprings and back tucks. And I haven't done a backhand spring or back tuck since last summer so I feel like I can't do them anymore.

You'll have to take your belly button ring out for cheer. It's a safety regulation. No jewelry is allowed for high school cheerleaders. Jewelry, especially belly rings, is dangerous during stunting. No matter what we're working on, I always make my cheerleaders take off all jewelry.

As for your tumbling, start working with a spot. You'll probably get your back handspring quickly. Back tucks generally take longer to get back. But it shouldn't take longer than it originally took to get it.

Well, if you haven't tumbled since summer, there's a good chance you've lost your tumbling anyways. If you can get it back in a month (which is reasonable if you ask me), it shouldn't hurt now that it's been pierced for that long. Just test it out. Stand up and lean back and see if it stretches. Try a bridge. Stuff like that.
