I have social anxiety, but to beat this social anxiety I need to go to the gym, but to go the gym I need it be very quiet so I can work out effectively, and hopefully over a period of time when I have made progress I will be more confident to go at busier times.
I am certain on going to the gym but I need a quiet time, I am free most of the time, is 9:00 am on a sunday morning quiet?
What is the quietest time?

Ironically a lot of gyms can be busy on a sunday because thats when people are least likely to be at work so they hit the gym. A friday evening may well be a good idea because most people have either had a long week and so are recovering or have had a long week and so are in need of a drink and a night out!

My advice is to give your gym a ring, and they should be able to suggest their quietest times as I'm sure they are all a bit different. Good luck and enjoy yourself.

I agree with just calling your local gym to ask them.

Personally I find about 8-10pm to be the quietest times, with Sunday mornings only slightly busier.

By the way I'm sorry for your social anxiety.

I'm not so sure but most gyms I know are closed on Sundays, but if it is open I say yes. From my own experience 3:00 am. is often the quietest.

Do not go in the morning or evening on a weekday!! In the morning a lot of mums go before work and drop their children off in a creche. In the evening a lot of men go after work. The best time to go is 11am - 3pm if you want it to be quiet. Id say, no time on a weekend is very quiet tbh. Take your ipod and earphones and it will feel like your on your own exercising =] plus the time will fly by x

Would be best to ring the gym for advice on this one as they all vary.

I'll fix it so that all the time will be a quiet time for you if you carry on asking this question over and over.
