have 3 games of 501 then play around the board 1-20 on singles then round on doubles then round on trebles end with 25 and bull make it a game with a friend as you will play better keep doing this and then when you play 501 you will be hitting the scores no problem

the best way to improve you dart techniqies ask your darts dealer if you are playing with the right darts and if you are not ask what sort of darts wil be ideal for you and start playing darts for a local darts team and if you are playing with the wrong set of darts get them changed and then all you need to do is just keep on prarticing do about 45hrs a week like phil(the power)talor

Keep practising dude also visit youre local darts dealer you maybe using darts that are not suitable for you theres lots of differents types, weights, and a massive range of many types of flights..talk to youre local dealer about it at the shop you should be able to test different types until you find a set that is right for you!

I use to be a County dart player. Please dont listen to some of the answers on here. Practice every chance you get.

Dont give up on yourself.

If you try practicing around the board in Doubles then Trebles.

You will find you will gradually become more accurate.

Remember PRACTICE does make perfect.

I wish you all the best.

Do it the other way round now. Try practising for 8 hours a week for the next 6 years and see how that helps. Good luck, LOL

try a different stance. most people automatically start with their right foot pointing at 9 or 10 o'clock. stand upright, not leaning forward, with your right foot pointing at 12 o'clock, left at 10 o'clock. your big toe needs to be pointing at the bull. it's weird getting used to a new stance but it's worth a try. if it doesn't work try a different weight of darts.

oh. one more thing.go throw now for ten minutes, but CONCENTRATE really hard on each dart. if that helps, you need to just work at extending the time you can concentrate for. not as easy as it sounds
