I'm looking to buy entirely new paintball equipment and after adding everything up, both of these setups will cost me about the same. I play woodsball, and pretty much only woodsball, which means I'll rarely be shooting at a high velocity (500 balls a day). To most people the X7 would be the obvious choice for woods play, but I've been hearing more and more people saying that a "speedball" gun works just as well, if not better, in the woods as an overpriced milsim gun. On the upside, the Minis are much lighter and air efficient (so I've heard) than the X7. The downside is that I've heard that the Mini is much less durable and robust in conditions such as the woods with mud and light rain. The X7 also uses no battery when going semi-auto, which is what I use. At the end of the day, I'm kind of leaning towards the Mini due to its weight and size, but the X7s looks and durability are making my decision a little hard. I'd like someone else's opinion, and keep in mind that I'm not planning on going 20 bps as I'm playing woods with limited paint.
