the captain should definetly have a positive relationship w/ all the team mates on ur team. i remember in 8th grade, the 2 captains were not nice and didnt really care about 1/3 of them team. dont favor anyone, not even ur best friend and give the girls on the team a chance, for example if they wanted to try being a flyer, let them try it. no one wants a captain who makes all the decisions for herself. im sure you'll make a great captain! if your good to everyone, then you'll pretty much be fine. good luck!

ive been captain of my school cheerleading before, and what can i say. its a very fun job! Plus it is a very great accomplishment. First is first you have to be responsible make sure everything is organized. Next dont boss your team around, help them the best way possiblee. Be nice, make sure your team likes you, smile alot, and just have a good time with it. hope that helps.

For captain what you have to do is be a leader for the team. Like helping everybody do their cheer and being a good example for everyone else to look up to! congrats!

My sister was the Captain of my schools Cheer-leading squad for all her 4 years of High School. She told me to be captain, you have to have the basic leadership skills; Positive, Encouraging, Respectful, Hard-working, and you HAVE to ALWAYS be on time to practices.
